1000 GM is inviting Bay Area Challengers to play against the Masters. They would be tested in a Double-Scheveningen format match between two groups - the Masters and the Challengers.
1000GM guarantees that the masters we bring will satisfy FIDE IM Norm requirements either for 5 or 5.5 points.

Time control: G/90 min +30 sec increment per move.

Entry fee is free for this event. There is a limited capacity of 5 IMs/challengers.
