1000 GM Early Chess Literacy Program

WHY CHESS?

HOW EARLY?

Recent developments in chess education have made it possible for children in Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary school to learn to play chess and have fun doing so!

WHAT IS CHESS LITERACY?

Participants in 1000 Grandmasters Early Chess Literacy program will learn

• How the pieces move, 
• The rules of the game, 
• Chess Etiquette, 
• To play a game of chess utilizing ChessKids.com.

An exciting and unique feature of the 1000 Grandmasters Early Chess Literacy program is the Recital. Students will dress up and perform solving chess puzzles in front of the audience in a premium venue with photo op opportunities.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

FREE In School (Very limited spots available): 

• 12 week program in school.
• Half hour sessions once a week
• Learn how to play chess on ChessKids App (free version)
• Recital at a premium venue at the end

Online Basic Literacy (Guided DIY):

• 12 week program.
• Remote support through weekly Zoom meetings.
• Gold Chesskids account for the whole year. 
• Invitation for recital at the end of the 12 week program. 
• Invitations to play in ChessKids Online tournaments.

One on One In Person:  

• Gold Chesskids account for the whole year.  
• Weekly meetings at a local chess tournament venue
• In person one on one instructions with a chess mentor 
• Invitations to play in ChessKids Online tournaments.
